I have loved linens since my childhood! I am from a family of 14, and spent much of my youth “hanging out” with elderly ladies in my community. I did their hair, made shifts and dusters from cotton rendered from flour and rice sacks, and made slipcovers from old sheets to cover their hand-me-down “dufoes” (sofas) from families they worked for. I have vivid memories of Mrs. Mary’s stories of how her dad carved bowls for her mother’s wedding gift, beautiful old linens handed down from families she worked for and from her mother. Today, I look at all the beautiful linens I have gathered through the years and still have the desire to make and sell linens from the beautiful fabrics I see at the Fabric-Store! I am pulling all of my thoughts together before I put in my order for tablecloths, runners, placemats, whatever I can get done and place on MsAnneDesigns, my new Etsy account! I am excited and look forward to much activity on linr!
