Warlene Rene Styling Tips: NATURAL Linen Blouse with Floral Detail Three Ways

This Heavyweight NATURAL linen I was excited about. It was my first time working with this texture of linen and I decided to make a blouse. It’s 7.1 ounces in weight, but has a beautiful drape to it. To add some interest, I draped two flowers and hand sewed them to the shoulders. There’s something very delicate yet impactful about this detail. I just love that this is so easy to style because it’s so dressy but in a fun way.

I knew right away I wanted to wear this to the beach, in my favorite dress that I wore here as a skirt by tucking the bodice part inside the skirt. I really felt like a goddess here and drew much attention. A silhouette like this is a statement even though it is so easy on the eyes. This is always the case where there is a lot of volume involved.

For this look, it was very fitting that I paired this top with one of my favorite floral skirts. This look is versatile and can be worn anywhere for plenty of occasions. I like how this is playful but really depending on my choice of shoes and accessories I could dress this up even more.

With a pair of trousers tucked into my boots, I’m giving this look a little class and timeless appeal. Yet it remains fun because of my bare shoulders. Something I like to do is tuck straight style leg pant into tall boots and play with proportion in that way. Depending on your height you can try this with mid-calf if ankle height doesn’t work as well.

I would love to see the top pulled up so the flowers are on your shoulder. I agree that I couldn’t wear 2 large flowers in the position you have them. Also, I thought you were a large person until I saw the trousers and top.
