Warlene Rene styling tips: ZENITH Linen draped trousers and top five ways
Continuing with our styling series, next up is a pair of stunning draped trousers with a little cute top as I had some extra fabric left. What I love about a good pair of trousers is how versatile they can look for a plethora of occasions. I especially love them in an unexpected shade. With Spring/Summer just around the corner, I wanted to make a pair that stands out and makes a statement so I decided to use FS ZENITH Heavy Weight Linen. The silhouette on these trousers is fun and very feminine and I chose to create them with a draping method for a softer look.
I’ve styled this beauty in 5 different ways which I’ll break down here.
Relaxed casual
This, as a complete top and bottom set, is so fun! Think, hanging out with your friends, brunch date or maybe a trip to the museum. This worn as a set gives that feel exactly. It looks relaxed, fun, and yet has a casual touch.

Meeting ready
You are ready for a business meeting, a mixer, or a professional setting.
The black ruffled button-down adds a refined touch, it is strong and balances the soft trousers. This is a strong look. Here, I opted for a classic quilted bag and held it as a clutch. For a more feminine touch and balancing curvy frames, I recommend tucking the shirt in and maybe even a belt around the waist. When you accessorize it can become date night ready as well.

Work/outfit look
Wearing a blazer with these pants is a classy approach and perfect for work/office wear. If you like cleaner lines, a tailored blouse would work well underneath. I wore a graphic tee under mine. Here I added some accessories to give the fit a little more interest. Jewelry and accessories are great for that.

Vacation look
When you think of linen, usually you are thinking of vacation: relaxed and comfortable. Here I look like I am about to check into my resort. I have a pair of straight leg denim. The weaved straw bag is a little detail that adds to the feel of my look. If you are tall straight jeans tend to elongate your legs, if you are petite you can still pull this look off by wearing a higher heel which will also give you height.

Cruising around town
I am owning the town and making a statement in this bright yellow top and high waist snake print midi skirt. To add a fun touch I’ve added a pair of high leather boots which instantly gives it that city vibe. This silhouette will balance any body type. For more of a carefree relaxed vibe you can pair this look with sandals.
