Linen Christmas Elf Refined Outfits For Your Kids Anyone?
For me, as for many others, Christmas is the most important holiday of the year, a celebration of magic, miracles and gifts!
Each family follows its own traditions, which are formed over the years and this is what our children will remember later when they become adults, how the smell of delicious apple pie filled the house and how the sister and brother ran and laughed loudly around their parents, waiting for Santa Claus.
It is important for me to think over every detail of these days, festive dishes, candles, live spruce, glass handmade toys for the Christmas tree. And linen fabric helps to turn my ideas into reality, this also applies to the decor of the house and clothes, which I think over long before the holidays.
This includes Christmas outfits for my kids. I have an idea, every year, if possible, to photograph them in clothes that I made myself. And today, in this article, I would like to share with you the results of what I did achieved this year!
The traditional colors for Christmas outfits are white, red and green. I love these colors and try to use them for sewing clothes! Last year I sewed a dress for my daughter from bleached linen fabric and a beautiful collar with crimson color ruffles, for the baby I decided to sew a set of overalls and a shirt using the same colors.
This year, I wanted to make another color of matching sets and chose a bright green, grass color cedar green and it turned out to be amazing. I always use medium-weight linen, although I also really like linen fabrics of different weights, but I tend to use them for other purposes.
I have already mentioned that I often buy patterns on Etsy. My favorite stores are AYO minipatterns, Rooney clothing, flora child and co, hello dear kids and many others!
So, the easiest part is the implementation of ideas and tailoring behind, the most difficult part is to take pictures of these fidgets, which one, do you think, is harder to catch?? It turned out that this is my eldest daughter, almost 6 years old, constantly having to come up with various tricks to make her stay in the frame, at least for 5 seconds. I think a little more and it will be absolutely impossible to do it!
The sets turned out to be beautiful, I plan to dress my kids in them often, on pictures with Santa, going out for a walk, and at home, on Christmas Eve!
In linen clothes, your children will always be bright, people ask where such beautiful clothes come from and are surprised to find out that I sewed it myself.
I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year my dear friends!

What beautiful makes. It shows all the love that went into making these for your children. My boy is a bit older but this has inspired me to continue learning (very new to sewing) the craft and make beautiful things for the sole purpose of enjoying the process.
