Romper and Skirt set made with Faille Pablo Flowers Orange Midweight Cotton

When I saw the new printed cottons on the FS website, I immediately wanted to try it. It was painfully hard to make a choice, by the way, since the array of fabric on offer are stunning but I eventually decided on the Faille Pablo Flowers in orange color. When I received this fabric, I was delighted, the quality is amazing, a beautiful and bright floral print! The structure of the fabric is very interesting as if it has a fine corrugation.

The next step was to choose a pattern. I wanted to sew a matching set for my daughter and myself for the summer and settled on a skirt and top for myself and a jumpsuit for my daughter, since lately, to my regret, she has increasingly begun to refuse dresses.

After pre-washing the fabric I realised that this fabric practically does not wrinkle! For me this is a great advantage, as a mother with a lot of daily tasks, I welcome any fabric I don’t need to also iron.

The process of cutting and sewing itself will not be problematic for you, the fabric is easy to sew, it does not crumble much, the details on it do not shift, in general, it is a pleasure to work with!

As for the patterns, I’m wearing a Lazy skirt from Tropical Research Patterns and a Romy top from Tessuti fabrics, my daughter is wearing a jumpsuit from Wishura patterns.

I like how the clothes I planned to sew turned out in the end, they look bright, elegant, summer-like! Usually I choose calmer earthy colors, but sometimes I want to bring brightness, why not do it in the summer, when there are so many colors around and you can perfectly fit into this natural beauty!
