FABRIC REVIEW: Perfect Linen Set for Boys and Girls In Midweight Linen
This year is very exciting for our family, my daughter went to kindergarten, she grew up so fast, but at the same time she is still so little. I wanted to prepare thoroughly for school, sew a lot of beautiful dresses, but this summer we moved to a new house and there was a lot of work and not as much time as I would like. But I still can’t stop sewing, and inspired by the upcoming holidays and a trip to the ocean, I decided to sew matching sets for my little ones.
I intended it to be something light and had a loose fit. I stopped at the patterns of a designer from Germany by FloraChildCo, I bought almost all the patterns from this brand and they are amazing! I sewed a set of pants and a T-shirt using linen fabric from fabric-store.com bleached color, it has an amazing texture, soft, and I like this color more than just white, very delicate, beautiful! I’ve been using this color a lot lately, this fabric goes great with other things in my wardrobe and my kids’ wardrobe.
In addition, I decided to sew curtains for the kitchen from this fabric, I have never made curtains yet, I hope the result will please me! As for the children’s sets, they turned out to be so beautiful, breathable, I think they will look great on our family photos from this ocean vacation!
This is an additional note after our trip. I would like to tell you that in these clothes it was very convenient to play, move around, get dirty in the sand, climb into the ocean, then dry out in the sun and get dirty in the sand again! Linen is a great option for any season, as it has amazing properties, cooling when it’s hot and warming when it’s cold, it’s unique.
