Warlene Rene Styling Tips: HONEYSUCKLE Linen Draped Palazzo Pants Three Ways
I’m looking forward to share fun ways in which I incorporate new pieces into my closet. My background in design and styling has allowed me to see and play around with limitless ways when it comes to dressing up. When I create a piece, simultaneously I am always thinking about garments I already own and how they will pair with each other. To keep your look fresh, it is great to add new concepts and silhouettes that change up your style. Today, I am sharing how to take one piece and see how it can work into your lifestyle for various occasions.
These pants were so much fun to make, especially in this energizing FS HONEYSUCKLE Linen.
This first look would be very appropriate for a brunch or lunch date. It has a sophisticated feel due to the fact that the blouse is slightly tailored with a little fun and drama in the pants. The lines in the top, especially the waist seams add structure to what would have otherwise been just a soft look. The top allows the pants to easily transition from relaxed to dressy.
This look is perfect for most festivities or special occasions (I can even see this at a wedding!). The pants, here resembling a skirt, worn with this floral balloon sleeve blouse present a formal touch. In order to give this look a more playful feel- accessorise! If you want to stand out, add accents. I decided on yellow to draw attention and interest. The organza blouse with the appliqué flowers adds a special touch to the look, so does the softness in the sleeves.
Here I wanted to create a carefree dressed down look I could run errands in. I went for a graphic tee and sneakers. The cool thing about any dress pants is that you can tone them down by pairing them with more a casual top and shoes. Because these pants are draped and flowy, dressing them down with a tee shows their versatility, as opposed to the more smart look I described above. When making or buying a garment it is best practice to imagine how it will pair with what you own to make sure you can get the most use out of it.
Don’t forget, that most importantly it is all about having fun.

Absolutely ADORABLE, Warlene. The tops are every bit as impactful as the palazzos, and your tiny waist is the linchpin for the entire look(s). :o)
